My name is LaKeisha.
I began photography in 2015 as a hobby during college that I soon realized would foster more interest. I began working as a second shooter and creative director for another passionate photographer. I was able to learn the ins and outs of lighting, lenses, setup, etc.
Eventually, I ventured on my own to really figure out my identity through photography.
There are so many professional photographers out there and I think what makes me ultra special is that I aim to connect and pull every ounce of confidence out of you when you move in front of the camera. I act as someone not only capturing you in the moment, but encouraging your flattering angles and acknowledging those beautiful expressions.

Am I the right fit for you?
Maturing is knowing that every photographer has a certain style, and therefore, not every client will like that style. As you glance through my portfolio, ask yourself if I am the right fit for your next shoot. It is rare that I change my editing style for anyone, simply because I want to stay true to my art form. If that is not something you want, then I caution you to find the right fit for a photographer.
My rates typically start at $250 (without studio costs). My rates are determined by my skills and knowledge developed since 2016, which includes my experience with lightroom and photoshop, camera technique, use of light, and time it takes to retouch each photo.
